Glacier National Park
is a vast pristine ecosystem that encompasses approximately 1.4 million acres of wilderness and some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in the western United States.
There are over 50 glaciers in the park from which it gets its name.
Glacier supports a wide variety of plants and wildlife.
The famed 50-mile Going-to-the-Sun Road, traverses through the heart of the park and crosses the Continental Divide,
allowing visitors breathtaking views of the rugged Lewis and Livingston mountain ranges, as well as dense forests, alpine tundra, waterfalls and two large lakes.
Numerous scenic turnouts and wayside exhibits allow travelers to stop and enjoy the park at their own pace.
Glacier is open year round, but due to its northern mountainous location, most people visit the park in the spring and summer.

Yellowstone National Park
is perhaps the most distinguished and popular National Park in the United States.
At about 2.2 million acres, equaling 3,472 square miles, it is immense in size.
Elevations in the park range from 5,000 to 11,000 feet.
Yellowstone is filled with geothermal geysers, hot springs, steam vents, and mud-pots.
The most famous geyser is Old Faithful which erupts approximately every 65 minutes.
The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone is famous for its colors, shapes, and waterfalls.
The major scenic attractions are located on the 142 mile Grand Loop Road (a figure eight shaped road in the center of the park).
A wide variety of wildlife live in the Park including bison, elk, mule deer, black bear, grizzly bears, moose, coyotes, pelicans, eagles and many other types of animals.
