Lake Tahoe Lake Tahoe straddles the California and Nevada border at 6,225 feet above sea level. Mt. Shasta Redding is centrally located in the beautiful Shasta-Cascade region in far Northern California. Redding is a popular base city for exploring Whiskeytown National Recreation area, Lassen Volcanic National Park, McArthur Burney Falls State Park, spectacular Mt. Shasta and the pristine Trinity Alps. There are hundreds of miles of scenic highways and backcountry roads for exploring this beautiful region and enjoying its abundant recreational opportunities.

Truckee/ Donner Lake Truckee / Donner Lake are located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California about 12 miles north of Lake Tahoe. With elevations up to 8,000 feet, this area offers beautiful alpine scenery and abundant outdoor recreational opportunities. In winter, enjoy great skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snow shoeing and sledding at eight world-class ski resorts. In summer, the lakes, rivers and streams are perfect for boating, water skiing, windsurfing, canoeing, swimming and fishing. There are endless trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Truckee offers first-class shopping conveniently located in a historic downtown.

Yosemite National Park Yosemite National Park covers an area of 1,200 square miles across the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite is internationally recognized for its spectacular granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, Giant Sequoia groves and wilderness areas. The park has thousands of lakes and ponds, 800 miles of hiking trails and 350 miles of scenic roadways. Summer activities include hiking, biking, backpacking, rock climbing, camping, rafting, wildlife viewing, swimming, fishing, and horseback riding. Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and outdoor ice skating. Although much of the park closes due to heavy snow in the winter, Yosemite Valley is open all year long.
